Starter Account

The Starter account is the default free plan in Population Explorer. It provides limited access to the platform but preserves your data, allowing you to upgrade later without losing work.

• Free access

• Maximum of 5 polygons

• Data limited to LandScan 2016 only

• Access to the PopEx application UI (folders, markers, shapes, exports)

• No access to advanced datasets, higher-resolution layers, or income data

Relationship to Paid Plans

• All Pro and Enterprise accounts automatically revert to Starter when cancelled.

• Starter limits apply after the billing cycle ends.

• All datasets and saved work are preserved, allowing seamless re-upgrade later.
